Now is your chance to put your imagination to the test. Just show us your Shreveport-Bossier experience in a one- to three-minute video and our viewers will decide which video they like best. You don't have to be an expert videographer, but do be creative and exciting.
Once you've uploaded and submitted your video, share your link with all your social networks, call friends, family and co-workers, find everyone you can to come and vote for your video.

Entry Instructions
You must have a youtube.com account in order to upload your videos. If you don’t already have one, sign up here:

The very first thing you should do is to read the Official Rules (link) very carefully. Any video that doesn’t meet these guidelines will not be eligible for the contest.
Next, check out our resources (link to resource page) for tips on making your video the best it can be. We’ve even got an expert on hand to answer your questions (link to Ask Will).
Then hit the streets of Shreveport-Bossier and Caddo and Bossier Parishes. Show us what you love about our area and how you like to experience it. Live it up and
have a great time. Take all the video you want, then pick the best parts and put together a movie one to three minutes long.
Since your video will be hosted at youtube.com, you must meet all their
guidelines and policies and your video must be in their
specified formats.
After the final cut, upload your video to your youtube.com account. You’ll need the URL and embed code for your video. You can find it in the right column when
you’re viewing your video on youtube.com. Go to shreveport-bossier.org/video to enter your video into the contest. Be sure you don’t miss the deadline! That means your video must be uploaded, your entry form must be completed and submitted, and any accompanying forms must be in our hands no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2009.
Now comes the most important part. You’ve got to drum up as many votes as you can for your video.
Call your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and anyone else you can persuade to vote for you. Tell them which video is yours, then ask them to go to www.shreveport-bossier.org/video and vote for you. They can vote for you up to five times in one day! We’ll display the number of votes for each video until a few days before the contest ends. So don’t think you’ve got a comfortable lead -- a lot can happen in a few days, so keep those votes rolling in!
